HISTORY OF THE ASSOCIATION
Founded in 1982, the Paint Manufacturers Association of Nigeria (PMAN) began with eighteen members and has grown to encompass over two hundred registered members today. Established as a sub-sector of the Chemicals and Pharmaceuticals sectoral group of the Manufacturers Association of Nigeria, PMAN has been the definitive voice of the surface coatings industry in Nigeria for over three decades. Initially created to advocate for the interests of paint manufacturers, PMAN has expanded its role to include the promotion of quality standards, environmental sustainability, and the professional development of its members.
